Sakinah Spouse is committed to providing a safe, respectful and lawful Islamic marriage platform. All users must comply with this Acceptable Use Policy when creating a profile, communicating with other members or otherwise using the platform.
1. Prohibited sexual violence and exploitation
Sakinah Spouse strictly prohibits:
- Sexual violence, threats of sexual violence or content that encourages, promotes, depicts or glorifies sexual violence.
- Sexual harassment, coercion, grooming, exploitation or non-consensual sexual conduct.
- Human trafficking and sex trafficking, including recruiting, facilitating, arranging, advertising or exploiting another person for trafficking.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including possessing, uploading, sharing, requesting, linking to, promoting or facilitating access to such material.
- Any sexual content, communication or activity involving or appearing to involve a person under the age of 18.
- Attempts to use the platform to exploit, groom, traffic or harm any person.
Sakinah Spouse has zero tolerance for sexual violence, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child sexual exploitation and Child Sexual Abuse Material.
2. Fraudulent and harmful activity
Users must not:
- Create fake, misleading or impersonation profiles.
- Provide false information about their identity, age, marital status or intentions.
- Scam, defraud, deceive or financially exploit another user.
- Request money, banking details or payments from other members under false pretences.
- Conduct phishing, identity theft or payment fraud.
- Access another person's account without permission.
- Introduce malware, scrape user information or interfere with the platform.
- Engage in fraudulent activity intended to deceive, exploit, harm or otherwise negatively affect end-users of Sakinah Spouse.
3. Reporting and enforcement
Sakinah Spouse may:
- Investigate reports and preserve relevant evidence.
- Remove prohibited profiles, messages or content.
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate accounts.
- Cancel access to the service without a refund where appropriate and legally permitted.
- Report suspected illegal conduct to the police, safeguarding authorities, the National Crime Agency or other relevant authorities.
- Cooperate with lawful investigations.
- Take immediate action where a child or another person may be at risk.
Serious violations may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.
4. User responsibility
Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their account. By using Sakinah Spouse, users agree not to engage in, facilitate, encourage or attempt any prohibited activity described in this policy.
